Gorgeous primark buys for spring

This is a perfect summer dress although it could be worn in spring with leggings or tights and a cardigan or jumper. I really like the floral pattern on the top as it makes it more delicate and pretty. It looks great with a belt around the waist for extra intresta and definition. This was only £5 which is great for a nice dress.

The colour of this top is bang on trend for spring and the little flowers add a nice pattern. It can be worn with shorts for a summery look or jeans for when it's a bit colder. This tops was only £3 which I think is a great price.

I love this top, the patterns lovely and you can make so many outfits from it. It looks great with jeans, leggings, denim shorts, or coloured cardigans. This top was only £4 which I think is amazing as lots of floral stuff is really expensive this year.

This dress is good for spring as the sleeves are longer and it look good with leggings. The pattern is simple but flattering and a belt makes the dress look much more fitted. This was only £5 which is good value for a nice dress.

3D gem nail art

This is really simple but adds a nice 3d effect.
Step 1: paint your nails in a bright base colour. I used seventeen supreme shine in shade wave.

Step 2: use a medium dotting tool to cover the nail in white spots.

Step 3: cover the white spots with a gem. You may want a cuticle stick to help you pick up each gem. If the white has already dried simply use a bit of clear polish to help them stick.

Step 4: wait for it all to dry then coat in a really thick layer of top coat.

Dangly earrings in 5 mins

This is very quick to make and can be easily customised to suit your personal style.

Step 1: choose 6 beads, 2 medium beads (6mm), 4 small beads (4mm)
Step 2: get 2 headpins and thread the beads on in the order small, medium, small. There should be 3 beads on each headpin.
Step 3: using round-nosed pliers bend the top of the headpin into a hook shape.
Step 4: put the earring loop into the hook shape and close the loop on the headpin.
Step 5: repeat for the other earring.

Step 5: use PVA glue to stick your magazine pieces around the cardboard.
Step 6: coat in a thick layer of PVA glue to seal it all together.

Super quick and easy spot nail art

This is mega easy and can be achieved in minutes.
Step 1: paint your nails in a dark base shade, I used a mua black polish.
Step 2: wait for it to dry.
Step 3: use a small dotting tool to cover the nail in small dots.

Cute cupcake nail art

This is really simple to achieve but looks quirky and eye catching.

Step 1: paint just over half your nail in a simple background colour, I used Barry m nail paint in shade 303-bright purple

Step 2: paint the other half in an opaque white. I used gallery colours in shade 236-white lightening.

Step 3: where the background colour and the white join, using a dotting tool make a dotted line.

Step 4: use a dotting tool to make a large red spot for the cherry.

Step 5: using a smaller dotting tool, take a contrasting colour and make dots at regular intervals.

Step 6: using the same size dotting tool and a different colour add some more dots.

Step 7: wait for it all to dry, then finish with a top coat :)

Top 10 sleepover rom-coms

Chick flicks are the perfect films for sleepovers but it can sometimes be hard finding a good one, these are my favourites:

50 first dates
Bridesmaids
Bride wars
Little bit of heaven
What to expect when you're expecting
Bridget jones diary
Bridget jones the edge of reason
What a girl wants
Love actually
Angus, thongs and perfect snogging

February favourites

Collection 2000 Concealer, this gives good coverages and is perfect for under eye circles. Loads of people rave about it and I totally see why, it applies so well and lasts ages.

Herbal essences dazzling shine hair mask, this makes your hair so shiny and soft. Even after just one use you can really notice the difference. You want to apply it once a week so it lasts quite a while.

Beauty uk palette, there is a good range of brown shades, perfect for doing a brown smokey eye. The top line is pearlised and the bottom line is Matt meaning there are shadows to suit different styles.

W7 mascara, the brush is great and makes your lashes look beautiful and fluttery. It is really affordable, I got mine from boyes for less than £2!

Fave nail polishes

I really like this rimmel polish as it is really smooth so applies beautifully. It is also a gorgeous colour and you only really need 1 coat.
This w7 polish is really sparkly, it's perfect for a party or a night out. You do need a few coats tho but the finished look is great.
I really like Barry m nail polish, they apply well and you only need 1 coat.
This seventeen polish is really glossy and smooth.
I absolutely love this nail polish, it is really sparkly and the colour is gorgeous.

Budget skincare saviours

The beauty palour chocolate face mask, it is really smooth and applies really well, it's got a nice strong chocolatey smell and is a great face mask for sleepovers.

Simple spotless skin anti blemish moisturiser, this is nice and light, I wouldn't say it's helped my spots go away but I don't think it's caused any either like lots of moisturisers do. I bought it for £3 from tesco so it's quite affordable as it looks like it will last a long time.

Superdrug deep action facial cleansing pads, these are really affordable but really help to improve skin quality, one side is rough, the other side is less rough but still textured, I find it particularly good for forehead spots. The main downside is it does have quite a strong smell.

Simple spotless skin rapid action spot zapper, this is great for getting rid of spots you already have, it claims in 4 hrs but I think it takes more like a day or two.

Lots of knots friendship bracelet

These bracelets are really quick to make and make great presents for friends!

1. Measure 2 arm lengths of wool and cut it

2. Use the piece of wool to cut another two pieces of wool in different colours.

3. Put all the pieces of wool together fold them all in half and tie a knot so there is just a small loop at the top.

4. Attach a safety pin through the loop and pint he safety pin to your trousers, duvet or similar. You could also use a clipboard.

5. Do a forwards knot with the string on the left (make the shape of a 4 over the other strings and pull it through.)

6. Pull the knot right to the top and repeat 9 more times.

7. Take the next colour to the left and do 10 forward knots

8. Switch to the last colour and do 10 forward knots.

9. Repeat until the bracelet is the desired length and then tie a knot right at the end of your knots and cut off the excess, leaving about 5cm to tie the bracelet around your wrist.

Button earrings in less than 5 mins

These are really cute and quirky. You can buy buttons in a huge variety if shapes, patterns and sizes so look around for what suits your style best. Blank earring backs aren't too expensive and can be purchased from ebay or a craft supply shop.

Step 2: heat a hot glue gun up and put a small blob of glue onto the button.
Step 3: quickly put the blank earring back into the glue blob
Step 4: hold it until the glue is mostly set then leave it to dry until it is completely set.

Step 5: hand stich the edge of the heart shut
Step 6: hand stich a small ribbon loop to the top to enable you to hang it

Origami heart

Step 1: get a square of paper. I used post it note size but you could make it as bit or as small as you like.

Step 2: fold in half diagonally and open back up
Step 3: fold in half diagonally from the other corners and open back up
Step 4: fold the top corner to the middle crease
